Through the eyes of ants
This ongoing series through the eyes of ants is built upon envisioning a world where we consider how the world is experienced beyond ourselves and to look through the eyes of something other than human. That even to observe at all is not a passive state, it's a constant engagement happening every second.
My hope in these images is that they can inspire wonder, compassion and remembrance for all species and the laws of nature at work that allow us all collectively to exist together. To build a foundation of appreciation that we are not the center of the universe. To give a species as small as an ant a platform to be seen, which is considered insignificant by some, is to hold reverence for all species.
The human eye is only one way to see the world. How does an ant see it? A bird?
